Personal Statement
I enjoy working with adults, adolescents, and children in individual, couple, and family therapy. I deal with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, relational issues, stress management, and grief & loss. I use a warm & accepting approach and believe in empowering my clients in their daily lives. I desire to see healing in the lives of my clients and their families as they grow in caring for themselves and one another.
I have a particular passion for working with women and their struggles, which, in addition to the areas mentioned above, include codependency, sexual abuse, body image, distorted thinking, and eating disorders.
I have also worked as a Christian therapist and am able to integrate this into therapy depending on the preference of each individual client.
